Ancestral Liberation amidst the Fall of Patriarchy
There are wounds older than our names, stitched into the fabric of our bloodlines, woven through the stories our ancestors never had the chance to tell. Patriarchy is not just a system—it is an inheritance, a spectral weight pressing against our ribcages, shaping the way we love, grieve, and move through the world.
Over the next twelve weeks, we will embark on a deep excavation of the ways patriarchy has shaped our personal and ancestral landscapes. This is not just an intellectual inquiry—it is an embodied reckoning, a way of listening to the echoes of our foremothers and forefathers and discerning what belongs to us and what was imposed upon us.
This is for those who have felt the weight of history in their bones, who have seen the patterns repeat in their families, who have burned out fighting systems of harm, and who long for a way to untangle themselves from the web without severing the thread of connection.
This is about remembering what patriarchy tried to make us forget: that sovereignty is not an individual endeavor, but a deeply rooted, ancestral reclamation.
The mother-child relationship can be seen as the first relationship violated by patriarchy.
~ Adrienne Rich

This great question came in! I’ve examined power and control dynamics, the root cause of which is patriarchy across cultural and personal lines of race, gender, age, ability, religious affinity and more through trauma-informed approaches for most of my professional life. As we are all affected by it, It applies to everyone, and because of this, with heartfelt enthusiasm, I offer this course to everyone regardless of gender in earnest hope of bringing clarity and healing for personal and collective harmony. consequatur.
