a free offering for the spring equinox
The Spring Equinox is a hinge, a moment where dark and light hold each other in equal measure before tilting forward into new growth. In a time when so much feels unspooled—politically, ecologically, within and without—we turn to the oldest technologies of repair: breath, hands, intention, and the weaving of small, sacred gestures.
This free one-hour ritual is an invitation to meet the season as a teacher of resilience. We will begin by grounding in the body, listening to the rhythms of pulse, soil, and wind. Through spoken word and guided meditation, we will invoke the unseen architectures of renewal—roots binding soil, mycelium threading beneath our feet, the ceaseless return of green after winter’s hush. Each participant will be invited to work with a simple act of weaving—knotting grasses, braiding thread, twisting fabric—infusing it with both grief and intention, an offering to what is both passing and emerging.
We will close with a collective breath, a gesture of release—burying, burning, or gifting our woven strands to water or wind—surrendering our small work into the vast intelligence of spring’s return. This is not a ritual for fixing, but for remembering: that even in unraveling, the loom of the world continues to turn.
Join us for a free one-hour ritual honoring the Spring Equinox—a moment of balance, resilience, and sacred weaving. Through meditation, and acts of creation, we’ll offer our grief and intentions to the turning of the season.
