Welcome to the Honeyed Oracle Blog
I feel like I’ve been birthing this page for 2 years now, and so I am happy to announce it to the Earth in hope that it will be of service to all, wrapped in big prayers. The name came to me in those potent moments between sleep and wakefulness one morning, resounding like a gong. I sing to the waters in gratitude for the sweetness of the way it is unfolding. For the moment, I leave you with a heart felt sentiment that is often felt when one has labored for a long night and finally sees the fruits of good effort.
With great affection,
Shannon
“You have traveled too fast over false ground;
Now your soul has come to take you back.
Take refuge in your senses, open up
To all the small miracles you rushed through.
Become inclined to watch the way of rain
When it falls slow and free.
Imitate the habit of twilight,
Taking time to open the well of color
That fostered the brightness of day.
Draw alongside the silence of stone
Until its calmness can claim you.”
